Areas of Focus: Adults struggling with: Anxiety, Perinatal Mental Health, Childhood Emotional Neglect

I believe finding a therapist that you connect with is the foundation of a successful therapy experience. For my own therapy journey, this was a key piece that helped me tap into vulnerability, face fears, and come out on the other side stronger and more confident in knowing how to work through my anxiety. Life can have a lot of obstacles and my hope is to be the person that can help you over them. I have a lot of experience working with those struggling with anxiety of all levels. Anxiety is closely connected to control and even though Anxiety looks different in each person- a lack of control is typically at the base of it. My goal is to identify what the area where loss of control is being experienced and help you get “unstuck” and regain power. Facing fears is part of this process. Tying in attachment theory related to relationships of all kinds is an area that I utilize as well. With this theory, I incorporate how Childhood- Emotional Neglect (CEN) can contribute to faulty attachment styles. More recently, I have been working with the pregnant and postpartum population. Since becoming a mom myself, this has me “front row and center” in all the demands and emotions that come with being a parent. I have completed all of the training for my Perinatal Mental Health Certification and working towards taking my exam in the coming months.
