Individual Counseling

45-55 minute session

We learn together to foster your growth. I enjoy looking at the thought process: automatic thoughts, negative thoughts, and how we can work with them to "train your brain" to see things in a more positive way. My approaches tend to gravitate towards Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, and tie in attachment theory , but I know that is not for everyone. I strive to pull from many modalities to make a plan that is best for YOU !

Building a trusting relationship is where I like to start and build a plan that is unique to your needs....together. Making the decision to begin therapy can be tough. My mission is to create a warm, welcoming, and safe space for you to learn, grow, and achieve.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk Therapy provides you with the opportunity to have a session outside instead of in the traditional office setting. With this approach, not only are we able to discuss your presenting issues and struggles, but we do it while walking in nature and impacting both physical and mental health in a positive way at the same time.

There is a lot of evidence that supports that exercise can assist in decreasing anxiety and stress.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
